Copies of your ID

I recently had a client who lost his wallet while traveling. He did not have any ID to take to the airport. I advised him to go to the local police department where they finger printed him, gave him a copy of the police report, and contacted the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in his home state. That bureau faxed a copy of his drivers license to the police department and he was allowed to go through security and caught his flight home.
